For the Prague Biennale we have approached three
artists to create works that would interpret the Mattoni brand in
advertisement spaces deployed in strategic locations around the
We cannot ask artists to dabble in advertising as much as it would
not be fit to ask authors of advertisements to create works of art.
These are crafts with diverse missions and abilities. We have asked
the artists who exhibit their works in our advertising spaces on
the occasion of the Prague Biennale to express the spirit of the
historical brand of Mattoni with the sensitivity inherent to them
and with their own view of the world. As a result there are three
extremely impressive and deep works of art. All address the Mattoni
brand, yet they conform to a certain exclusive line of thought.
