Atelier Morales
Live and work in Paris

Teresa Ayuso and Juan Luis Morales Menocal make up the collective Atelier Morales. Both Cuban architects, they left their country ten years ago and arrived in Paris. They formed Atelier Morales in 1993. Atelier Morales has created the series Bohios, a project of photography, painting, and collage as an investigation on site, selection and classification. Bohios is the name given to the "guajiro" (peasant) homes in Cuba. Atelier Morales is able to document original and transformed bohios reflecting on abandoned patrimony.
