| Bharat Sikka travels around the world photographing
Indian men in their personal spaces. Many of his subjects are relatives
or friends. He is
primarily interested in representing the environments of middle
to upper class individuals to examine a very focused aspect of contemporary
life in India and the Diaspora and to reinvent the kind of historical
categorization of photographing and archiving identity.
