Francis Gomila
1954, Gibraltar. Lives and works in Newcastle, England

In the video projection A Place Called Oxmoor, Francis Gomila interrogates sites of domesticity, filming a panoramic view of residents in their settings at the Oxmoor project in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, England.
The disquieting panoptical gaze of the camera transforms this mode of tableaux vivant into a tense exercise in surveillance.
