Paolo Consorti
1964, San Benedetto del Tronto, Italy. Lives and works in Rome

Consorti’s world comes from everyday reality, from social custom, from the intimate habits of people that we resemble. Elevating normality is what this artist from the Italy’s Marche region constantly does. It regards the characters but also the objects and clothes, the landscape and color patterns. Consorti works to confirm that every realism has a potentiality beyond the contingencies. But what is then necessary is the correct
iconographic tension, an added value where art takes on the ethic
responsibility for the beautiful. The picture posses a physicality in search of unexpressed freedom by orientating itself towards vital relaxation and escape from material deprivation.
