| Bertocchi’s work expresses a fascination
with the dilatation of space, with the rotary movement of the universe;
an interest in scientific discoveries; an amazement at the cosmos;
a space full of new possibilities. His works also expresses the
need to reach the very essence of things, to travel to the center
of the earth, as in the novel by Jules Verne, to go and look beyond
the cut of one of Lucio Fontana’s canvasses, to discover how
many different forms a planet can have.
