Azorro Group
Founded in 2001. Live and work in Krakow and Warsaw

The Azorro Group was created in the rather hot summer of 2001. The group consists of four artists working with different media, such as painting,
photography, video, new media, and performance.
This wide field of artistic experience allows the group to move rather freely and consciously in the world of contemporary art, a world about which one may say many things, but which is surely not a perfect world. The Azorro Group’s main field of work is the production of movies, which in a cunning and humorous way
lay bare the stereotypes of “post-modernity.” Their movies often explore the idea of art as an institutionalized system, but they also touch on such subjects as the value of art or the status of the contemporary artist.
The ventures of Azorro Group are full of humor, which cannot be
overestimated.
